Ashland Eye Care offers comprehensive eye care for ages ranging from 1
to 91 (and beyond.) Whether it is glasses, contact lenses, periodic
check-ups or acute eye care you need, we are happy to provide these
services.
We have a wide selection of glasses, from conservative to high-fashion,
for you to choose from. Whether we determine your prescription or you
have a current prescription from elsewhere, we are happy to help you
select new glasses. We also have a selection of sunglasses, which you
can use as is or they can be used to create prescription sunglasses,
including bifocals and progressives.
If you are interested in contact lenses, whether you are currently a
successful wearer, have tried and failed before or have never tried
contacts at all, we are glad to demonstrate the latest technologies and
options. This includes soft contacts, gas permeables (rigid), colored
contacts, those designed to treat astigmatism and even bifocal designs.
If you have an acute problem, such as red eye, eye injury, or infection,
we can diagnose and treat you. We can perform your annual eye check-ups
if you have diabetes or hypertension. We can monitor cataract
development and counsel you regarding your laser surgery options.
Ashland Eye Care has been serving the community for over 40 years,
however, Dr. Loftus came to the practice in 2003, bringing the latest
training and skills to the practice. The frame and contact lens
selections have been completely updated as well as diagnostic and
treatment equipment.
