The Siskiyou Institute was founded in 2001 as a non-profit organization to promote quality artistic and educational events in the Rogue Valley. These events have taken place at the Old Siskiyou Barn, which is a unique, intimate concert venue, located in the hills just outside Ashland. The mission of the Siskiyou Institute is to provide educational opportunities for students, artists and performers, and to foster the growth of the performing arts in southern Oregon by providing a high quality performing arts series in an intimate setting for performers of all artistic disciplines. In addition, we organize a visiting artists outreach program to promote music education in the schools.
