Start the holiday season early with the Grand Illumination and Santa’s Parade in downtown Ashland on Friday November 28th. The festivities will begin at 5:00 PM with Santa’s parade, making it’s way down to the Plaza. After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their way up to the balcony of Alex’s restaurant to lead in the countdown to turn on thousands of Christmas lights in the downtown area. Afterwards Santa and Mrs. Claus will head up to their workshop at the New Theater to have their pictures taken with the children and listen to their wish lists. There is live entertainment before and after the parade.
