"The Ashland Rowing Club is a non-profit volunteer organization, found here in Ashland, OR. Currently there are approximately 120 members of all ages and skill levels with membership in the club. Ashland Rowing Club offers seasonal or year-round rowing on Emigrant Lake, found about 5 miles outside Ashland.
Their recreational program has been designed with beginning rowers in mind. It focuses on “the healthful, ‘stress-busting’ benefits of aerobic exercise and the joy of participating in a team sport. Participants will begin rowing in eight- and four-oared shells (sweeps). As competency and endurance develop, they will also have the opportunity to row in single or double sculls.” - AshlandRowingClub.org
