"Are you ready for some football?" Football fury is unleashed during autumn weekends in Ashland as both Ashland High School and Southern Oregon University battle it out on the gridiron against their regional conference foes.
The Ashland High School Grizzlies compete in the Southern Oregon Conference. (Retired NFL star Chad Cota spent his high school football career playing for the red and white of the Ashland Grizzlies.)

The Southern Oregon University Raiders are competing members in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
