The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 4:30. "The Senior Program provides a support system to the older residents of Ashland.
Health Services which include preventative health care clinics, provided by medical professionals as well as pressure screening, flu immunization and foot care.
- Utility Discounts available to Ashland residents over the age of 65 who qualify as low income. They receive a 20% to 30% discount on City utilities (water, wastewater, and electric).
- Trash Collection discounts are offered to Ashland residents over the age of 65 and who meet income qualifications Call the Senior Center for more information.
- Noon Meals are provided by the local community non-profit Access Loaves and Fishes. The meals are served at the Senior Center at noon Monday through Friday.
- Weekly events are held which include dancing classes, movies, writing groups, computer learning and more."
