Siskiyou Mountain Park
This extensive natural area encompasses 270 acres that are located above the city on the west side, with access off Park Street. There are single-track trails for mountain biking, hiking or horseback riding (which is not recommended). No amenities. No facilities. Not for young children unless attended by parent. Foreknowledge of the area is recommended. Access to the White Rabbit Trail and the Oredson-Todd Woods Trail are located here as well as connections to the Pacific Crest Trail. For information contact the Ashland Parks and Recreation Department at 541-488-5340.

Bear Creek Greenway
Please visit the website www.bearcreekgreenway.com for the latest news and the history of the soon to be completed Bear Creek Greenway. The Bear Creek Greenway is a narrow corridor of public-owned land that follows the lush Bear Creek streambed from Ashland to Central Point. The Greenway is spread out over 600 acres of pristine southern Oregon landscape and will soon include a continuous 21-mile paved path connecting the towns of Ashland, Talent, Phoenix, Medford and Central Point, upon which to easily and safely walk, run, and bike the distance, being all the while surrounded and protected by natural beauty.
