Ashland Institute of Massage offers a program of courses designed to prepare you for creating a fulfilling career as a professional massage therapist. Founded in 1988 as the Ashland Massage Institute, we are celebrating new ownership, a new name, a new vision, and a greatly expanded program. We offer quality education for massage therapists in a small-school environment and gorgeous locale.

Our 650-hour massage program is for self-directed people committed to learning the foundations of massage therapy. This program integrates the human sciences of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology with the technical practice of Swedish massage, medical/rehabilitation techniques and a variety of eastern, energy-based modalities. We have expanded our curriculum to emphasize a Core Integration component supporting your development as a practitioner and a businessperson, encompassing skill integration, movement and self-awareness, communication and ethics, and professional development."
