Eat Local Challenge, September 10-19, 2010

From Friday, September 10, 2010To Sunday, September 20 2010 Rogue Valley residents are invited to celebrate locally produced food by pledging to eat from the greater Rogue Valley during the week of September 11-20.  This week of fun activities raises awareness about the benefits of eating locally and includes food films, restaurant specials, store tastings, cooking classes, a farm tour and the Rogue Flavor Dinner and Auction at RoxyAnn Winery.

How much are you willing to commit to eating local?  It’s up to you.  New this year, the Eat Local Challenge offers three levels of participation: the Purist, the Idealist and the Optimist. When you take the pledge, you will be entered in a drawing for two complementary tickets to the Rogue Flavor Dinner Sept. 20.
