Every year in early May, animal lovers from all over Southern Oregon and Northern California gather together to celebrate National Pet Week at Friends of the Animal Shelters annual Jacksonville Mutt Strut. The proceeds help save homeless pets at the local animal shelter.

You are invited to celebrate National Pet Week at the annual Jacksonville Mutt Strut, sponsored by Friends of the Animal Shelter and Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital. Join dozens of animal lovers and their dogs for a group hike on a beautiful nature trail near Britt Festival. All proceeds benefit Friends of the Animal Shelter's programs to save homeless pets at the local animal shelter.
