Relay for life
Listings details
Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Well its that time of year again! Time for the Ashland Relay for Life... I would like to introduce myself. My name is Stephanie Elmore and I am the new Event Chair for the Ashland Relay. I am excited about this opportunity and the chance to be part of something near and dear to my heart. When I was 13 years old, my father was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer and the doctors gave him a 1% chance of making it off the surgery table. I am proud to say that he will be joining our other Survivors on the first lap. We are looking for teams to join our cause - to Celebrate Remember and Fight Back!
