The festival takes place on the five screens of the intimate art-deco Varsity Theatre and at the Historic Ashland Armory - within a few blocks of each other in historic downtown Ashland, Oregon. See our archives for past film selections and special guests.
Ashland Oregon is surrounded by mountains, old-growth forests, Harry & David "Fruit of the Month" orchards and is home to the Tony Award winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The town and nearby Crater Lake, majestic redwoods and the Rogue River attract people from all over the world. Featured in A Thousand Places to See Before You Die, Ashland is just 12 miles from the California border, 1 mile from I-5 and 20 minutes from the Medford Airport.
