Chrysalis Tile Studio has been creating exceptional, one of a kind art tiles since 1989. Large murals for installation in showers, kitchens, bathrooms floors, spas, etc. are our specialty. We also create tile borders for use in back splashes, fireplace surrounds, hot tubs, and more. Single tiles created at Chrysalis Tile may be interspersed with field tiles for a dramatic effect.
Since custom work is our specialty you will not find mass produced tiles here. We hand make and or hand paint every tile individually. The best ceramic glazes are used and there is an almost limitless palate of colors from which to choose.

After glazing, the tiles are kiln fired to 1900 degrees. The glazes melt and fuse to the tiles. This creates the permanence of glaze and color unique to hand painted ceramic tile. These characteristics are not found in China painted, or decaled tile. The glazes are guaranteed by us to not fade and to stand the test of normal cleaning and care.
