Open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday, lunch from 12-1:30, and dinner 5pm to 9pm (last reservations taken at 9pm) during Ashland's theater season, approximately Valentine's Day through Thanksgiving.
This restaurant is located just north of Ashland in an adobe ranch-style building.
The food is all organic with everything made in house. They offer a world class wine list which can be paired up with seven to nine first courses and main courses which change daily and seasonally. They also offer a 3 to 4 choice set menu of favorites.
With only six tables and a reputation that precedes itself, reservations are a must; New Sammy's is sometimes booked a month in advance during the high season.

I was here the year New Sammy's opened, with my husband and two other couples from the Bay Area. Since then we have come to Ashland each year and always ate at New Sammy's. Tonight I brought my sister and her new husband here, and we all agreed that the food is fabulous; a real treat even for folks from San Francisco. Something about the super fresh ingredients and incredible talent in the kitchen make the food here unique. Now I live in Ashland and will continue to bring my visitors to New Sammy's.

I am dumbfounded by the law rating given this restaurant, which is, hands down, the best and only "destination" restaurant in or near Ashland. We've been going there since it opened some 10-15 years ago, long before its recent expansion, and have never failed to be rewarded by its superb meals and unsurpassed wine list. The price of this excellence of course has doubled or tripled since we began patronizing New Sammy's, but it is still well worth it.
