Revels is a magazine supplement to the Thursday edition of the Ashland Daily Tidings newspaper. The table of contents lists the following categories: happenings, movies, galleries, dining guide, nightlife, books and ideas. Current theatre productions, musical performances, local celebrations and special events are listed and detailed. Local movie theatres, current movies and showing times are included along with short movie reviews.

Included in the supplement is a comprehensive television viewing guide and a listing of the upcoming week’s schedule of topics and guests to be heard on Ashland’s locally produced, weekday interactive radio-talk program called “The Jefferson Exchange” hosted by Jeff Golden on Jefferson Public Radio. Under the heading “galleries,” local and visiting artists are profiled and galleries and exhibits are listed. The dining guide lists and reviews most of the area restaurants and the nightlife section spotlights what’s going on at music venues around town. Books are reviewed and visiting authors are profiled under the heading “books and ideas” along with information about upcoming special lectures and presentations.
